A Boat Called Titan

It seems Titan is a cursed name for boats or ships of any kind or size.
The Wreck of the Titan in 1912 features a fictional British ocean liner named Titan that sinks in the North Atlantic Ocean after striking an iceberg.
RMS Titanic sank April 14, 1912 – April 15, 1912.
According to a poster on Quora, an outrigger canoe sank on it's maiden voyage around the harbor in Papua New Guinea in 2006.
In 2011 a sailboat named “Titanic 2” lived up to its name by sinking on its maiden voyage in an English harbor, but there were no icebergs in sight.
I'm pretty sure I remember a small craft of the same name sinking in the early 80's but can't confirm it.
Well, if I ever have a boat, I'll name him
Frank or George or Bill or Tom, anything but Titan
